Hey all,

I just finished doing the OEM big brake upgrade on my 05 B6 Ultrasport (from 1.8 to 3.0 brakes). Huge difference in braking now. My question is I had ceramic brake pads in it before and they hardly generated any dust at all. The pads needed to be replaced so i ordered some more ceramic pads. They were unfortunately out so they sent me some carbon ceramics for the same price (after i agreed of course). It's been about a week now and i've had to clean the wheels almost everyday because they create so much dust. it seems to be getting better, but i was wondering is this normal for carbon/ceramics to create alot of dust? Does this happen only on the first few hundred miles? Just to clarify, the rotors are slotted and drilled in case that makes a difference.
