Hey guys, I have an '01 A4 Quattro that's running out of rubber pretty quick. I need some new tires, but I have always owned a truck and don't know much about car tires. I loved the BFGs I had on my bronco, I've been looking around a little and like the looks of the BFG g-force a/s, but have been finding pretty mixed reviews online. I noticed my local Costco has another BFG, the Advantage t/a I think, and these have a longer treadlife, but aren't quite as aggresive looking. I need a tire that will handle well in the rain and snow down freeways and mountain passes, the BFGs look like they will do the job and are definitely the right price, but has anyone on here had any good or bad experience with these tires? I would like a few opinions from members before I run out and buy new rubber. Thanks.

 

The Advantage TA is a pretty good tire as far as traction and comfort go but I would not consider it a sporty tire. It's definitely not the most responsive or best handling option but good in it's own right.

Yea I don't need anything high performance really, I just need something that won't lose much traction in wet and sometimes snowy conditions. I have an infant son so I'm not gonna be hauling *** everywhere pushing my car to the limit. I'm leaning towards something like the Advantage because of that and I see a lot of people burn up the g-force tires pretty quick. Thanks for the input, keep it coming guys!
