Need winter rims and tires. Advice?
 

I moved to Indiana last year from South Carolina and this winter was BRUTAL on my wheels. Between sliding off the road twice and NUMBEROUS hidden potholes I am now the proud owner of 3 bent rims. So I am thinking of purchasing some black winter wheels and tires to have put on so I can send my OEM wheels to be straightened and refinished. I like the look of the rims on the 2010 S4 like in the picture. Attachment 18524. This is my first time buying after market rims and I want to go affordable but durable. Anyone have any advice on purchasing rims from anywhere, or for sending my OEM rims to be refurbished?

I don't know about Indiana, but here in CT there are numerous wheel places that repair bent wheels. I've had some wheels that I didn't think they'd be able to fix but they did. I think the most I've paid to fix 1 wheel that was bent and cracked was $130. That will probably be less expensive than buying another set, unless you want another set...

I have a set of graphite 18" aftermarket wheels and Bridgestone Blizzaks which were used on my 2011 A5, They were awesome in the PA winters. These are for sale if you are interested.

I struggle with some winter tyres purchase and wanted to ask if on a wheel with a summer tyres 185/60/R15 will fit winter tyres with these parameters: 185/65/T15. If yes, what difference does the % index of 5 mean? Btw, it's for Yaris 2009.

General Altimax artic are very good even drove them all year.
