problem with audi tt 19" wheels
I just bought an audi TT 3.2 stronic 2007 model, the car had the factory 19" wheels, tyres are 255/35/19 all around. When the road is bumpy at fast speeds the rear tyre touches the arch! Im really surprised, i thought this is the standard wheels/tyres for the car. Anybody has any clues? car has the magnetic ride and i dont believe has been lowered.

I want to see if I can be of assistance.
Audi actually didn't produce a 2007 TT, They produced 2006 all the way until mid 2007 and then launched the 2008. I have verified that neither the 06 or 08 models came with 19" wheels as an option, unless it was a dealer option. The optional size would have been a 245/40R18. We do have fitments all the way up to 20" that will work and should not have any issues. The tire size you have is a suggested size so unless there have been other modifications done you should not be experiencing these effects.
