I live in Northern Louisiana and have a 2006 A6 and i would be surprised if my tires last 3000-4000 miles (sometimes only a few hundred miles) .I am literally scared to take the car on any trip as you never know if you will make it without a tire blowing out, any help on this would be great and thankyou. I have 18" rims and i am not overly concerned with the ride as long as they last for a year or so before leaving my wife or myself stranded on the side of the road.

 

What type of tire have you been so unlucky with?
