So this winter has taken a toll on my 2011 Audi A6 that I purchased last year.

Hit a pothole in north NJ(parsippany for any of you that know the area) and damage the tire (bubble in sidewall) and bent rim....about $500 in damage. Oh and I didnt purchase the tire and rim insurance because it was too expensive and I said "what the hell do I need that for?". So I filed a claim with the county and just got my answer back from them denying the claim. No surprise here--bastards. There is a statute in the law that says they are not liable if "they werent aware of the problem" and of course they claimed they were unaware even though they filled the ****** pothole!

Well just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this(especially this winter in Norht NJ) and if they were ever lucky enough to make a successful claim? Do I have any recourse? Oh btw, I did buy the rim and tire insurance.
