Hi i need new tires all four of them i am not sure which brand would best suitd for my vehicle some people ay continental others say michellin i am not sure i would like right tire my size i 245/45 R17 i would like a good deal and like to know if thereare other brands that can be used with y car thank you or our time reading this looking forward to some help

I show the 245/45R17 as the correct size for your specific A6. There are several great tires to choose from in this size. Are you looking for an All Season or Summer Performance tire? I would like to use touring but i want performance as well at least handling speeds up or close to 140 mph i live in PA it snows and rains here. I want to know which tires have the best tread life i would like to buy a set of tires that has a good tread life and is rated for high speeds and comfort as well thank you

 

In a touring class of tire there is not a lot to choose from, this is mainly a performance dominated size. I would however suggest a new tire from Continental called the Pure Contact. It is a touring class tire that provides excellent handling and traction. It is also a Low Rolling Resistance tire which will improve your fuel economy. Another tire in this class would be the Michelin Primacy MXV4. This tire has been around a few years and gets very nice reviews and has tested well. I lean more toward the Continental because of the newer technology and less expensive price.
