hi i have a 1999 audi a4 quattro 1.8t and i was wondering what is the largest and widest wheel that will fit on that vehicle? can anyone help? i wanted to put the 2007 rs4 wheels but before i get them i want to know if they would fit perfectly without losing performance, and by performance i mean handling. and also would i need to roll the fenders for them to fit?

I can't help, but I know it took about 24 hours before my post was answered.
The BEST thing I can say is, try looking on www.tirerack.com and see what rims and tires they offer for your car. It might be able to help you see if those other rims will fit.

 

I show wheels as large as 19x8.5'' with an offset any where from 30mm to 40mm would fit perfectly. I don't have a measurement of the RS4 wheels so I'm not sure if they would work or not. If you can get the measurement I would be happy to review it and see what I can find out.

 

I ran 19x8 wheels last year with 235-35-19 Falkens and had to roll my fenders due to my suspension drop. They were 42 offset (originally on a GTI) but I used 5mm spacers to get an offset of 37 and was good to go. The tires were dead flush with the fenders. They're the wheels in my sig. They're also available for sale.
