Wheel spacer thickness?

Wheel spacer thickness?
I am planning to get a used set of AUDI OEM wheels from someone. They are 18"diameter x 8" width with 43mm offset. My stock rims are 16" diameter x 7" width with 35mm offset. So to bring out the wheels a bit I am planning to use some spacers and wondering any of you have this info readily available. I am too lazy to go out to the car to take a wheel off.
1. What is the factory spacer thickness on 2001 A6?
2. I think the inner side will be about 20mm closer to the inside and the exterior side will be about 5mm out. I am planning to space it out about 10mm. If the factory spacer is 10mm, then I will be getting a set of 20mm spacers to replace the factory ones. What do you think?
3. Can I use (2) 10mm spacers instead?
Any input is appreciated.

Well for comparison purposes, a couple years ago I had 19x8 TSW Volcano wheels (in my sig pic). They were ET42. I used 5mm spacers to make that an ET37 equivalent and they fit fine. Perfectly flush with the fenders. The more you space the wheels, the faster you're going to kill the wheel bearings, so keep that in mind and space only as much as necessary. In this case, if you run 225-section tires, a 5mm spacer will probably work fine for you.
