Exclamation winter tires for my 2011 S6

I am looking for Pirelli 270 sottoZero Serie ii in 265/35-19 XL for my 2011 S6. Tire Rack and Discount Tire Direct are sold out.

HELP...I live in VT (meaning lots of snow!!!)

You may be better off getting winter 18" snows and wheels, more accessible.

We are getting a big shipment from Pirelli in two weeks if you can wait. I certainly hope it's not snowing yet where you are!

When I bought this 2011 Audi S4, the dealer had 18" snows and wheels pulled up as a recommendation from tire rack about 1 week ago. Is there a better combination? I'm really looking for traction on the snow and ice. The "Audi" wheel package was ~ $2500, vs, ~ $1500 with the tire rack recs.

Personally I really like the combination that our techs put together. Getting into that Performance Winter class for the tire is ideal for the vehicle and the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D is the current king of that class. You could go with a slimmer size though which would be better for snow traction. We recommend the 245/40R18 but using a 225/45R18 would be a great option too.

When it comes to the wheel I would suggest looking at the brand Elbrus because they are a great quality in the casting and have a reinforced finish with their "Ice" coating.

Make sure you are clicking the Winter button and viewing the 18'' packages. They do not produce any in a 19'' that would work but about every 18'' option we can guaranty will fit.

Thanks AWD - I appreciate it!

Same answer as before though on the Falkens...nada on the radar. I'll be the first to let you know if I hear something otherwise!

Default Winter Tire and Wheel combo

I am ready to order the Elbrus wheels and the Dunlop combo. I am assuming that the tire and wheel combo will not rub on the body of the 2011 audi s4.
