Lost all coolant - engine wont start
Ive got an '03 Allroad 2.7 and when i came out of a long appointment, the car was sitting in its own coolant. Leading up to this, at the stop previous, the car was turning over, but didn't start right away (very uncommon).
Also, when I came out to the vehicle the second time and the coolant was all over the parking lot, the car would turn over, bit not start at all. Now, I have fixed the coolant problem (blown hose coming off the oil filter housing), but again, she turns over but will not start.
Is there a sensor that protects the engine after a major overheating that needs reset??
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
