Not even sure what to say
I have a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro I have recently purchased. Was told coil pack was out when I bought the car. Well, as them not being mechanics I went ahead and bought one just to be sure that was it. Well so far I have put a coil pack, ignition module, plugs, plug wires, cam sensor, crank sensor and a fuel pump. Well after putting the crank sensor on today I finally got spark and the car tries to fire now and almost start, gets to about 1k rpm then just stops. Not sure exactly what's up but I am confused and have no idea. Compression is right, timing is right and the fuel rails are getting fuel and the injectors are fine. The ecu Is also fine. Checked every single fuse and relay but I am narrowing it down to some type of relay that may have to do with the injectors. Anyone have any idea where that is at or what is up with this thing from starting and running properly?

Not sure if you sorted this out yet, I had the same issue, there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, turns out it was my immobilizer that acted up, I just replaced the batteries in my key fob and it sorted the issue. Not sure if this is the same issue but that worked for me.
