2009 LCI facelift MMI dead, cd changer ejects discs but screen dead, help needed plea
Dear all,
I have got a 2009 C6 saloon LCI facelift with a cd unit which has two sd card slots in the glove box. After the MMI dead this unit still eject and take CD in which confused me.
I don’t think the car had sat nav as before the mmi dead it shows sat nav unavailable or something similar.
Also the Bluetooth wasn’t working when I got it. I have no idea it was faulty or not fitted by Audi as in 2009 among the first few facelift seems got basic MMI? Not sure...
My friend borrowed it from me for one day then upon return the mmi dead and so is the radio. The control buttons are all non illuminated. I’m not sure it was my friends fault or not as a while ago I had problems powering the radio up but somehow it came back on just fine so I did not bother.
This time it has completly dead, I tried to force reboot it by long pressing the three buttons but no joy.
Pulled all the fuses out and back in, still dead.
In the boot there is nothing to the left, only some fuses to the right.
Help needed please.
Please see the attached scan results, did an Optical Bus scan and to my suprise both modoules came back ok.......
However when I tried to get into moudle 56 there is no response..

I have the exact same problem!!
btw, the satnav not working is probably because the model you have should have DVD which stores the maps, but i wouldn't use the satnav anyway, its slow as heck and probably outdated.
You are better off with waze on your phone in that respect, or installing an aftermarket android unit, but first you need to get the radio unit at the back working, i'm in the same boat as you! let me know if you got somewhere, next step for me is wiretracing!
