New ecu cloning and coding
Hi,
I’m replacing the ECU on my Audi A4 1.8t B7 2006.
I think the old is completely dead and it isn't possible to clone it.
If I get a used ECU with the exact same part number and engine:
Does it still need to be cloned?
I assume the immobilizer is the limiting factor, so:
- Is cloning required even with an identical ECU?
-Is there anything else that needs to be cloned?
Also:
- Is an IMMO OFF ECU truly plug & play, and are there any downsides? https://ebay.us/m/54SMuU
Thanks!
