Default Just Ordered '09 A4 2.0T!

Just ordered '09 A4 2.0T....specs:

Brilliant Black/Black
2.0T Quattro
6-sp Auto
Prestige Package
Navigation Package
Drive Select

Total Price (MSRP): $46,500
....w/Tax, license, etc....$50,250!

MY ETA delivery is around the 3rd week of Sept. I REALLY wanted to get the S-Line Package (or at least the 19" Sports Package) but my agent told me Audi has been having BIG problems with getting enough S-Line parts, and thus, there is NO definitive date as to when those cars will even get out of production! I test drove both the 2.0T and the 3.2 and found no big difference in power......if anything, I found the 2.0T to be a little faster to 30MPH. Also, I found the 2.0T to be a little more nimble as far as handling....and you get better fuel economy to boot! I can't wait to try out the Drive Select feature! In the end, I feel a little "guilty" paying $50,000 for an "entry-level" luxury car....and one that has only a 4-cyl......but also, I didn't want to get another boring 3-series, or a TL or an Infiniti G. I just LOVE how the new A4 looks and there is nothing like it on the road!

PSB1013: I am in Toronto, Canada. There are no 6 speed A4 available here as of yet. Have to wait at least 4 months for this car. how long do you have to wait for the 6 speed in the US?

I think you're talking about the 6sp. Manual which won't be available for another few more months......the one I ordered is a 6sp. Auto.

you are right. I have mis-read your post. I am just so anxious to get the 6speed manual. It won't go into production untill December. so by the time it arrives in Toronto, it would be in feburary.

The Audi dealer here in NJ said the 6sp manual will be available in Feb too.

Just can't wait ar...but the 6 speed manual would kind of defeat the purpose of Drive Select. Because what Drive Select dose, is adjust the shift point of the automatic/tiptronic transmission and adjust the suspension.
