Default Lexus ISF

So I was in West Virginia last Friday for a Lexus ISF Promotion. I paid 300 bucks for me, 300 bucks for my girlfriend, and two of my close friends came. Basically we drove the new ISF on two autocross tracks. One was slippery, one was dry. Then we did a track where we followed an instructor. It was fantastic! we were doing low 100's around the track and I must say, for an automatic w/ paddle shifters it shifted very fast! Infact they said it shifted at 1/10th of a second. You could totally get the *** end of this car out when nailing the apexes of the turns. It was a super fun time but I must say, eventhough the car is faster than my S4, I enjoy driving the Audi much more. The suspension was just too loose. Other than that one complaint, we all had a great time. Gotta tell ya guys; if you find one of these driving schools/track day events, you certainly should try it out. It's a good time. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can as my chick has them in her camera...

No it was much more than a test drive. We had direct instruction from a professional lexus race car driver critiquing our driving and telling us how to cut down on lap times. We sat down and had a class on racing. Basics on over steering, under steering, cornering, and other **** like that. To call it a test drive is a true understatement, and if you think you cannot be taught to be a better driver under professional instruction, you are quite naive. It wasn't just any lexus either, it was their fastest sports car and a the worlds first 8 gear tranny. It was a fantastic experience! Lots of free-bees and great food, prizes and **** too. Good times!
