I'm gettin rid of my B6 A4 and getting an 01 S4. I am tryin to figure out which turbo kit would be the best one to get on a stock 2.7T. The awe rsk04 kit for 8200 with mani's or The ASP RS6 Kit that has a tuned fueling kit already. Can anyone offer me any advice on which kit to go with? Has anyone ever had a problem with ASP RS6 Kit? How is their tuned fueling kit?

the manifolds with the AWE kit are nice but not a useful way to spend your money, stock or pnp'd manis work well with k04's.

Autospeed makes good products, RS6's will make more power than k04's. ASPs fueling and tuning is good, or if you can find a shop near you that will do it.

stock to stage 3+ is expensive.

 

also check out vast , i know there price is lower then that and they have great numbers.

 

ya vasts RS6 turbo kit and fueling kit is decent but their kit requires modifications to the downpipes or somethin. The problem I face is the place I go to.. deal with GIAC and AWE so they are biased against asp or vast and will tell me negative things about those two and of course try and convince me that Awe is the way to go. I'm feelin the ASP RS6 kit a little more though. plus since they offer a tuned fueling kit, I dont have to go to the biased awe shop. I can just take it to a dealership and they can install everything since there is notuning involved. This is possble correct??? Lets say I do get the ASP RS6 Kit...on pump gas,stock2.7t will be ok right? If I have to upgrade the pistons and rods then screw it, I'll go with the RSK04 Kit fromawe.

 

if you are foolish enough to go to a stealership to have that installed, you might as well get the kit you really really really want, because they are going to charge a good 10k just for labor.

 

dealership is gonna charge you about 3k total in labor, but because you are bringing them parts, they aren't going to warranty any of it.

 

^+1 , yeah do it youself it is free or ask your friends for help and pay in beer.

 

I actually trust the dealership more than I do the awe tuner shop in my area. Those dudes are a bunch of crooks man. I could tell you stories all day but the bottom line isthe dealership is who I trust and believe. They actually hook me up to which is good when it comes to labor. Has anyone ever had any problems with the asp tuned fueling kit???

 

none my friends run it all day long, the only problem he has is now he wants more power and he run out of gas to fast, haha if that is a problem. I would get something local so tuning is easy.
