ya I will probably get the kit from AWE. Not my first choice but probably the smarter choice down the road I guess.

If you're going to go with the RS6 hybrids, you'll want to look into some larger injectors. If you're planning on running the RS4 injectors, they will likely be your bottleneck.

That might be a smart idea, the AWE kit is in alot of cars. Seriously though if i was you i would not get the AWE manifolds they just aren't needed with K04's and over $2000 is outragous. For K04's i think ported, polished, and ceramic coated are more than enough, vast sells them if you dont wanna find someone in your area.

The RS6's would give you more power but put more stress on your engine and be more expensive. Now you have more money to spend on the ever important supporting mods anyway. What turbo back exhaust and intercoolers are you going to use? Have you ever thought about adding a water/meth kit for some chemical intercooling and more power?

ya I saw some of those ceramic coated exhaust manifolds that vast offers. how on earth can they only be like 400 bucks when awe is charging 2-3k for theirs???WTF!!! currently my B5 is still bone stock. I've only had it for like a week and half. My first step is to get it to a stage 2 immediately. Awe twin 1 and giac software, S flow intake and some diverter valves, then add some coilovers. Then awe smic's. My cash flow is drained after putting a down payment on the B5 and then getting the timing belt/water pump done the next day. Spending 3 grand in two days sucked. My gf is still waitin for her ring too!! Shes gonna be waitin a while!!! hahah

Haha, youll enjoy stage 2. Vasts are so cheap because theyre actually the stock manifold, just pnp'd then ceramic coated. IMO best option for K04 stage 3 if you want to do manifolds. ASP and AWE are so expensive.

Sounds like youve got a good plan!

thats crazy..didnt know the vast ones were stock Mani's. Thats tight. I'm gettin those for sure. not too crazy about piggies...i was feelin the asp downpipes a little more. ya Im gonna stick to makin it a stage 2 right away. my only concern with that is tryin to keep the K03's from going too quickly. Once they go, its AWE stage 3 all the way but i gotta save up for that expensive *** rape in the meantime of being a stage 2. hopefully by lettin them cool down for 5min or so after driving, should save some of their lifespan I would hope.

what exactly do you wanna know? If you dont wanna spend more than 4 grand, just upgrade to a stage 2(chip, exhaust, Diverter valves, intake)and thats all you really need. I, on the other hand am definitely going to a stage 2 here in the next few weeks for sure, and then to a stage 3 probably by next spring. If ur already a stage 2, then all you'll need is the turbo kit/fueling kit and upgraded clutch/flywheel and some big *** downpipes but thats an extra 9 grand right there. Just depends what you really wanna spend i guess.
