Hi i,ve got a 04 plate A4 1.9 tdi and have lost the keys my local audi dealer has obtained a new set that need coding in so today picked up the new uncoded set met my rcovery guy at the car and loaded it onto the trailer took it over to th dealer to reprogrammed and have been told that because the uncoded keys had tried to start the car it has blocked the ecu and needs a new one to the cost of 1,500 pounds, can anybody shed some light as to wether it is true or are they just guessing coz they aren't sure. HELP PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE .
