Hey guys. My name is Andy, and I'm going to be in the car market this summer. I am currently 21 and a college student. I will most likely be looking for a new car this summer. I was planning for a 300ZX Twin Turbo, but due to winters here in PA I don't know how that will work. I was looking into the A4 1.8T. Before, I decide to look at them seriously, I need some input. </P>


I definitly want 5spd. What kind of aftermarket is there for these cars? I will drive it daily, but want some nice performance to it. I was told they can run 15's stock, but I would like faster. How much money would it take to put a 1.8T quattro into the mid to low 14's? I'd like a nice everyday driver with some nice umph to it. If you guys could hook me up with some sites with aftermarket performance that'd be great. Thanks for the replies.</P>


On a side note, my uncle is who got me into Audi's. He has owned several A4's and now has an A6, planning on getting an S4.</P>

I go to Kutztown University. I'm between Allentown and Reading. I'm about 45 minutes from Philly. I can make it to King of Prussia in about 40 minutes.

 

You can get the power up to around 240hp for $2500(chip, intake, exhaust, K04 turbo kit)or so. not including labor. Thats S4 territory. or 270hp with a turbo kit from PES, for $3800.</P>
