hey all...im new to audis and new to s4. just picked up an 2001 s4 around the end of april. its a certified preown. my question is this:

has anyone while going around 80mph or above, have some kind of "whistling" noise coming out of the vents. its not a high pitched whistling noise but more of an lower note. it sounds like its coming from the vents. Cuz i know some japanese cars have had a little alarm noise when going above a certain speed level. does the audi's have the same thing? its getting annoying especially when im cruising on the highway. it only starts happening when i hit around 80mph or above, no lower. thanks in advance for any help.

 

that is most likey some sort of wind deflection.

 

that would be a speed alert to let you know, i had the smae question when i bought my car if you have the manual it will tell you exactly what to do, you cant erase it but you can set it as high as 200mph. hope this helps.
