Default How do I get to the Air Filter in a 08 TT?

I have a 08 TT Roadster with the 2.0 engine and was going to put a K&N filter in but I can't figure out how to get the housing off. I really feel silly asking the question.
This is the first car/truck I have ever owned that I can't get into (and i've owned about 15 vehicles).
Help! How do I get in to change the filter out?
I did break down and look in the manual, it was no help.
Thanks in advance.

Your first 15 vehicles didn't happen to be 1989 chevy pickups with a single wingnut to remove the air cleaner did they.

Almost, MGs, Buicks, Mustangs, and Miatas, all rag tops and an SUV or two.
I could find the air cleaner on all of them, even managed to flip one or two of them over for a real deep sound when the 4 barrels kicked in!

See the thread in the TT section. Diagrams there for those who may also need them. It took me about 40 minutes to complete.
I would not have attempted without the help i got from this web site!
