Hi all just wondering i have a 2001 Audi A3 1.6. Have a replacement filter but cannot find it on the actual car has anyone any information on where it is or how i replace it?

Check behind the glove box, near passenger's feet. It should be there.

 

hi had a look in there nothing obvious, Found what appears to be the blower unit? Would i be right in saying that? Took out the Glove box.

First remove this grey cover behind the glove compartment box, by the passenger's feet:


The cover of the filter is back there. No need to remove any other screws.
Just slide the cover of the A/C filter and pull it out.



Remove any excess dirt with an air blower before putting the new one in.

Note: Make sure you remember the way the cover of the filter slides out in order to put it back in the correct way.

 

No need to remove the glove box at all.
