So I'm driving home from waterfest a little soggy but pretty damn happy, great day, great people great fun.

Anyway, I'm approaching my driveway, there is an SUV with dark tinted windows outside my house and another car infront of that one with the hood up. So needless to say I can't really see all that far past the SUV and the popped hood. Anyway, I turn into my drive way and I'm going about 3-5MPH. So not fast in the least since the guy on one side of the drive way was working on his car and on the other side is a telephone pole and our driveway has a nasty habbit of scraping if you come in to fast.

Anyway, I'm essentiall all off the road and majority of car was across the side walk, when BAM! BAM! 2 teenagers on mountain bikes smacked into my A4. These kids were moving at a pretty decent clip down the side walk, my neighbor watched it happen and couldnt help but laugh. The noise scared the ever living crap out of me, even more so when I look over to see what the hell the noise was to see the kids face platered on my rear passenger side window.

Somehow the car managed to come out fairly unscathed by the ordeal, 2 scratches. One about 2 inches long just above the gas tank door and one on the gas tank door and some scrapes on the skirts. I'm just hoping it stays that way, we do live in a pretty ghetto fabulous neighborhood so I'm just hoping the kids buddies don't come out and trash our car[s] over night.

I'll post pics of the scratches and stuff tomorrow when there is more light to take the photos. It's not that big of a deal at the moment though since the car is going in for paint work on the 25th anyway, I'll see what they will charge to touch these new ones up too.


Oh yeah, the teenagers will have some nasty bruises I'm sure but they rode away after sucking it up for a couple min on my front step, hopefully this is the last we;ll hear about it and they will learn not to ride so fast on the sidewalks.
