sorry if this is a repeat post, hit some buttons on the computer and audiforums disappeared...

What is the area between the shifter and the radio? Storage? It looks as if there is some radio contacts in there but my head is too big (thus negating and relationship between head size and intelligence) to get a good look. It pops up with a slight touch, or some spirited driving...but I never do that. I have posted a pic to help.

The car is a 2003 a4 Quattro. I have only had it for a week and will gush over it in a subsequent post....I chose it over a 3 series from another German manufacturer or maybe it chose me but we’re tight! Just ask the bug suv that tried to pinch me out of my lane yesterday. (Glad the mrs doesn’t know about this forum).

I think is missing the little liner, you know when you clean your car how you can take it out and dump it? that's missing.
