So i am looking at getting a transmission out of a 86 5000s for my 1990 100. I know its the same transmission but the cooler lines hook up differently is this easy enough to swap out?

Is your old tranny cooler the side mounted one, the one you have a hell of a time getting to?

They did change to a rear mounted cooler, attached to the very rear of the tranny housing, much easier to access.
Would have to check the book, can do that if you need, scan and send.
