today I noticed my car make this wine noise and sounds as if I have a supercharger on it when I accelerate and go thru all the other gears but If I but the car in nuetral and rev up on it I don't hear the noise, maybe it my tranny thats making that noise I don't know, so I checked all the hoses and everything looked fine and I'm still making full boost arround 15-17psi and my vacuum is still normal at arround 22-25......any inputs on this please

 

Does the car feel like it has less "pull" or is performing weaker in any really noticible way?

its your turbo! its supposed to make that noise.

 

Hmm. My turbo on my GSX started doing that real bad and then the turbo came apart. Not literally come apart, but went out on me. Pull the intake hose off your turbo, grab the shaft, and try to move it around. It shouldn't move at all. It made a bad whining sound rather than the typical whistle.

 

its the turbo and intake compbined making that.

 

Could be a bad bearing in a pulley.. Only makes the sound when there is engine load.... Its happend

 

jus gears i have same thing its kinda kool but i think my trannys all frigged up but it works up to red line so i don't care jus enjoy the sounds "unique" haha

 

yes I notice a little loss in power but only sometimes and sometime the car pulls very hard, I believe its my turbo getting ready to go because it doesn't make the pretty whistle noise anymore it sounds like a supercharger now, I really hope that its just boost leak somewhere because I'm really not ready to get the GT28rs yet.
