Default First-Time Audi Owner

I just bought a 1996 2.8 FWD A4 and am getting some work done on it. I just did all the 90k maintenance (belts, pump), and of course it needs new lower control arms/ball joint work. After reading through a lot of posts, I was planning on repacing all the control arms, tie rod ends, etc. with a Meyle 10-12 pc kit while I was at it. Anyone have success with this particular kit?

Also, I was considering replacing my rotors along with my break pads. I found some non-slotted/drilled rotors on ecartoys for $36 apiece. Has anyone tried these, and would these be a noticeable upgrade over the stock ones?

Finally, is there anything else that you'd recommend replacing with aftermarket parts that is probably on its last legs? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Meyle parts are very high quality. Lots of people have used their kit over on audiworld.com. I doubt you'd find any braking upgrade in just plain rotors.

Would you recommend drilled Brembo rotors?

Hmm no not really. Drilled rotors are prone to cracking. I did the whole slotted rotor thing a few years back. No increase in braking, just a heck of a lot more dust. I'd recommend getting a brake kit from someplace like ECS. They have some inexpensive ones too.
