hello new to forum. having problem with the rear driver side brake light. the brake light went out so i changed it out, noticed that the light wasnt blown but i still replaced it with a new one. still doesnt work, also replaced it with one that did work from the above light, nothing. can anyone help? 1999 a6 2.8

 

pull the bulb braket holder and check i f you have power going to the socket for that bulb,it is a not so comon problem but i have seen cople go bad,in this case you have to replace the braket wich is not expensive
