Hey i just took a trip to vt and one of my friends saw me and told me my left brake light was always on..? then later in the day i saw another audi and his was always on too? is this normal with audi's or something to get looked at?[sm=thanx.gif]

 

I think you rear fog light is on. i have a 2001 a4 and i can turn on my left rear light by pushing a button. maybe yours is on?

 

Rear fog? Thought they only had those in europe? And it wouldn't be red like the brake light would it? i drive with my lights on all day including fogs. My friend and i work together so i'd think he would have noticed that it goes on when i turn my lights on.......????

 

the b6 re activate the fogs by pulling the **** out
when u turn on your head lights do u pull the **** all the way out (2 clicks)
first click is front
second is front and rear fog
we have 2 front and 1 rear

haha that is your rear foglight the switch is right above your radio the 2 buttons there one is for the front and one id for the rear I use it all the time when kids get to close to my bumper on the highway I turn it on and they back right off they think i'm riding my brakes its some funny ****

 

BTW yes it is red and yes it is on the left upper side

Yes your lft upper red light is activated when u press the button to turn your rear fog light on.

I dont understand why there is only one fog light? Just doesnt make any sense to me. Maybee one of you guys can enlighten me.

 

there is only one fog light so people will see you as they are flying past you.. and not slam on there brakes thinking your stopped or somethingits on the left side so that the person approaching you can tell where the edge of your car is.. and its red so people know that its the rear of your car
