Default New to Audi, new to Audi Forums

Hey all, new member here. I'm pretty excited. I picked up TT this weekend. It is my first Audi. I absolutely love it.

I bought a 2001 Audi TT Quattro Coupe, Amulet Red, 225 HP, 41,000 miles. This thing is a BLAST to drive.

All of the photo's in larger resolution can be viewed at my website here: http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/ga...lt.asp?dir=232

A select few to view in this topic...

Photoshopped version.

The most common problem I've read about is the timing belt issue and reccomending replacing it at 60,000 miles. At the same time I'd probably replace water pump bearings, tensioners, etc. Are there any other issues I should be concerned with? It runs absolutly perfect right now. Oh, how hard is it to get the stock radio out of these things?

I paid $18,700 for it. That seemed right in there with other prices in the area.

Welcome, and nice TT!

If you get the timing belt kit from dieselgeek.com, it has the tensioner, and water pump, and all that crap right with it. Check em out.

For the radio, not too tricky, make a set of these (pics from Audiworld.com forums, thanks to MarTT) Stick em in the slots to the sides of the radio, and you're there.
