1.8t quattro just chipped now unknown shudder?
If someone could help i.m a little worried! I just had my car chipped and maybe drove 2 hours total after and am noticing some sort of vibration. When driving at peak power I feel shuddering in the cabin sounds like in the engine! What could this be? The noise lasts couple seconds then clears. Currently chipped at 93 and running with 93 octane. Please I hope its not serious!
If anyone could help open to any suggestions

What do you mean by "peak power"? Does it shudder at the top of each gear? What is the sound like? When exactly do you hear it? At a certain RPM?
Try and give a little more detail.
Ok I new to turbo engines but this is what I think, At about 3 to 4.5k rpms floored right when the engine begins to surge power very noticeable in 5th gear. It feels like something is off balance!
its true man, the ecu needs time to adapt..... also you should look at an N57H valve it will smooth it out more and add more power

If this is true what a relief I thought the turbo was having problems!

Great news, I have stock 03' A4 1.8t DV at the moment was told by APR will hold. Time to sit back and enjoy all the extra power it was missing!
