i have an '01 allroad w/ 60K. It just developed a weird tick in the ride height... sometimes i come out in the a.m. and it is dropped- some mornings it's normal. the system seems to bleed itself... but the randomness of it makes me think it's not a leak. any thoughts?

 

I have an '03 allroad that sometimes does the same thing. The right side was sitting lower yesterday. I lowered it from # 2 setting to the # 1 lowest setting and then raised it back to # 2. The ride hight seems normal now. Occasionally I will hear the ride height adjust itself after I come to a stop in the driveway and the motor is off. Audi has not been able to diagnose this last issue after numerous visits and replacement of the master ride height compressor.

 

I have a 2002 allroad,

My suspension makes little adjustments all the time in traffic, and
self levels when I park it.

Leveling problems could be caused by faulty or corrupted level
sensors. Level sensors are located under the car on all four
wheels (remove and check resistance ranges with a multimeter).

Or have the dealer do this specific check first before they go
farther.

 

I had the same problem with the car settling down when the car sat for 1 - 2 days. It is an '03. It was a bad airbag and the dealer replaced it.


Now I am seeing a height adjustment (light blinking on level 3) occasionally too. It might be related?

I have an 03, It is starting to loose air over night in any possition, I don't want to take it to Glenmore Audi, they tried to charge me 7000.00 for a diverter valve...... Any ideas?
