Does anyone know the 'official' name for the Display screen by the gauges? The screen that displays MPG, Temp etc.
I hear it's like $500 from the dealership or so.
Can it be boughten off like ebay or any online site?

I am pretty sure you can't just get the display, you need to get a whole new cluster. You can try ebay.

 

I think its called an IDS display

 

So a whole new gauge cluster would need to be purchased? Ouch..

 

I am 90% sure.

Do a search as this is becoming a common problem - pixels die. You'll find a lot of info on it.
