driver display LCD screen

Default driver display LCD screen
Is there a way to disable this? My screen has lines across it like every other b5 and all it does is annoy me.

On the bottom of the right hand side stalk there is a button that will disable the screen.

The buttons on my right hand stalk don't work.

Didn't you mean the left?
