Audi 90 2.2E 1988

Starts fine when cold, runs ok
wont start when hot, runs crap, have to wait 2 hours for it to cool down before re-starting, it pulls back and misses?

can anyone help me out on this?..please!!

A bit more info would be helpful. Did the problem just happen all of a sudden or was this a slow and gradual thing?

 

Hi, its sorted now, it was the fuel pump not supplying the correct pressure to the system, got a new one on order.

i have not got it yet, but i will let you know, i am sure it will tho

 

I had a similar problem but the points were to blame - maybe cheaper than a new fuel pump?

 

lol yes they would be....if i had some
