Do you think there would be a big difference in handling by installing the S4 sway bars on my 3.0 quattro? Or are there better aftermarket solutions? (I have stock sport package) My goal is to decrease understeer :-)

 

i've read on other forums of other people doing that and it's helped them a great deal. You can also check out Mike at purems.com. he has a sway kit that a lot of people use.

 

get some h-sport ones on there

 

alot of people are running stock S4 rear sways, its a decent cheap upgrade

 

This is probably a newbie question....will the sway bars change the ride height at all? I want to get this car handling as best I can while maintaining stock (or pretty close to stock) ride height. Any other upgrades anyone can suggest to upgrade handling would be appreciated!

 

sways bars wont change hieght, they have nuthing to do with height, u can get coilovers and change the dampering but those are pricey

 

Im probably going to go with the h-sport bars....I like to take my a4 on mountain road drives so I want to reduce body roll and understeer........they will make a pretty big difference in those areas?

 

i have H-sport front and rear sway bars on my stock sport suspension and it improved greatly
but u will have body roll because the car is still hight, but some understreer is elimnated
