Default Aftermarket radio with vehicle information display?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is any way to have an aftermarket radio display the radio station I am listening to on my display in the instrument cluster. It's not THAT big of a deal, but it would be nice to keep the functionality.

Thanks!

did you find a deck that worked for you?

Remote Control Interface Connector Is what I think your looking for in the feature I think.

If so please let me know because I am trying to solve this same problem.

Remote control interfaces are one way devices, therefore it is impossible for the atftermarket cd player Alpine, Kenwood etc. will not send information to the display.

So that means there is no way for this to work? its one way information from the deck to the display on the dashbaord.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

Yes, you are correct. However the aftermarket decks do not have this function. And there is no adapter that will make your Audi Display work with an aftermarket deck. Besides who cares!!! Aftermarket displays provide more information than the stupid dash display.
