Well I had the ABS light go on because the sensor in the new strut asembly was crushed by the axcel.

Well put in my old sensor and now no more lights. Instead now the ABS activates all the time while brakeing and slowing down at a low speed such as at a light or stop sign. I know that its the ABS becasue my brake petal will pushback and it makes that weird grinding clunking noise. I also hear the same noise while driveing off from a stop.

Why would it do this. Does the sensor have to be put in so far on a certain angle or does it not matter. If it does then please tell me how I can re align it, it is very annoying. Thank you.

 

The sensor is not in far enough and cannot read the ring. Push it all the way in
