Default New Exhaust Tip on 98 2.8

hi everyone. i want to make my car a little sportier so i was gonna change the exhaust tip. no i dont want to be rice lol but i want to make it look how i see some 2.7T.

as of right now, my car has the turndown tips (you cant see them cuz the plastic rearbumper thing cover its)here is a pic in case you dont know what i mean.

i want to cut out the grey plastic bumper cover around the exhaust so i have visible chrome tips like this:

.

but what i need to know is what size my current exhaust tips are, so i can buy the right tip.

i plan on cutting the turndown tip, cutting the grey plastic peice where necessary, then just sliding this on straight so my car ends up looking like this:

also - where can i buy that spoiler lip on the picture above

Check out Stoney's Links (see my signature for the URL). There, you'll find several links to people who have done just what you're looking to do.

Not sure on this one. I did a search on another forum and it sounds like it's somewhere between 2 1/8 and 2 1/4. I play it safe and measure it directly.
