Default AWE Tuning Website

the products on the awe website are either for the tiptronic or the manual transmission, but i have just a regular automatic...would i be able to buy the tiptronic transmission products...and my car is a 97 A4 1.8T FWD

No they will not work, you do not have the additional hardware required. A company used to sell a kit to retrofit a tiptronic unit to auto's, but they stopped selling it due to low demand. What product are you looking at exactly?

i was looking at the GIAC chip, the bailey's diverter valve (just looking at that one), and the H&R sport springs/bilstein sport shocks

Guess you'll have to call them, I don't see why it woulnt work. Chipping a pure auto may cause some slight surging though, with the additional power.

I suggest you call AWE and ask them - I'm sure they have had the question asked before.
