due to an overzealous driver my rear bumper is headed to the body shop and going to get repainted. while its there i was thinking of having all the lower body panels painted silver to match the car (the s4 look). its a '99 a4 2.8l quattro and i was wondering what i'd be looking at for costs for this? any idea of cost would help!

 

this happened to me and all i had to pay was 80to get my lowers painted (front & back) while my rear was being fixed.

 

Dont go to Macco. i got a $400 on my honda, cheap because it didnt include the clearcoat.

 

lol, thats what happens when you go to macco and get there cheapest one.... and the lowers should not cost much to be painted... its a pretty easy diy tho if you trust yourself, lol.

 

I had my whole car resprayed black and all the lowers painted with it for 1000 $ for a top coat/clear coat system


Look around your state, maaco is the worst... find a little shop that will do it cheap while also doing a good job. I love my paintjob and it only costed 1000$
