Default Smoothing out paint

I put touch up paint on my car today and i was wondering if there was a way to smooth it out. Is there w/o havong to wet sand? Also, i used goo-gone to debadge my car but now the trunk is ruff from the goo-gone running down it.

get yourself some 3M Imperial Hand Glaze.
Follow instructions on the area. Its a light rubbing compound.
Then wash area, follow with wax.

clay bar the car

Claybar takes crap off the paint - it will not smooth out newly applied touch up paint.
Clay probably would not take off the debadging residue either. Didn't for me, anyway.

clay bar i know whont smooth paint. I debadged my car and used Goo-gone to remove the marjority of the glue left over. Then i used cleaner wax and clay bar to get the rest off, and remove the outline of the emblems.
