Hi all...

Trying to find out a few things

1 where should I run my power lead for my amp - any pics would be helpful but Its a but odd the way the battery sits.....I really need to know where people are running through the firewall thats all
2 does anyone have a wiring diagram for an 05 bose premium system - I need ot know what speaker wires are what so I can tap then to get my line out. (where is the amp - do I have to take the right panel in the trunk off?)

Any help would be awesome...

also suggestion on where to mount an amp would be good.....trying to tuck it outta the way - I dont even mind if its hidden actually just 1 less thing ot get banged up!

Thanks in advance :) my 1st post!

Most people run the power wire through the ECU box. It leads directly into the cabin from the engine area. I mounted my amp on the underdeck of the trunk.

Thanks for the post :) Can you post pics of the amp, That is exactly what I want to do, Mount the amp outta the way and make it easy to take the box out if I want to use the trunk for moving something big. That would be great if you could let me know how you went about mounting....its pretty uneven and I couldnt even figure out how to take the rear deck off, or I woulda experimented even more. Took off 4 clips but It still didnt budge so I gave up trying to get to the factory sub.

Anyhow....there isnt much activity here (at the time of my post) so I was on my own, I went through the pass side actually, there was a gromet that was empty and it was calling for some 4guage :)

What i did was take out the glove box, took off the filter and housing (air purifier filter not car air filter) and it was clear how I would then route the wire. I just use that huge square opening to guide me through and it went smooth as can be. I was gonna go through that side, but I couldnt get to the rear ecu bolts without take off the wiper arm and that front plastic peice that runs just below the windshield, actually I think it worked out as good if not better.
