I was wondering if anybody has this turbo in a 1.8t A4 and if I should buy this or a K04.

a ko4-2x from a 225 will give you simular in power and more torque. But the more important thing is you get stock like reliabilaty as opposed to a cut up garret turbo. I would either go ko4-2x or go with a true garrett turbo. It really depends on your goals. Personally a t3s60 would be a far better buy than either turbo above. You can make 280whp on 93 and w/ 100 or 93 and water/meth you can make 300+whp and the cost is relativly cheap and garrett reliability.

a ko4 you should be able to find on in the classifieds or from pro-imports.com. For a t3s60 if you go to pagparts.com arnold can help you out.

If you get either one and want the most performance out of them, your gonna need a FMIC and other things.

You are also going to have to get software for each. and I dont know how easy it is to get software for a t3s60, but you caould probably get software for the k04-2x from GIAC, not sure.

I also want a new turbo but cant decide between the k04 and eliminator.

O you can get the eliminator and its software at atpturbo.com

but there are always consequences when you put more power in you engine

A revo stage 3 file w/ a 28r file or any 28r file will work well aslong as you have the injectors and maf it is written for.

I also want a new turbo but cant decide between the k04 and eliminator. Full kits have more power and are more reliable than a "eliminator" that only eliminated themselves

O you can get the eliminator and its software at atpturbo.com DO NOT BUY MIKA TUNING!!!

but there are always consequences when you put more power in you engine

would an APR chip and some RC 310cc injectors give me a good amount of horsepower with the K04-15 also if I buy the K04-2x will it fit in the stock location and run off the stock chip.

its not a direct swap, just like its not a direct swap on the transverse engines also. Some work will be involved. But that is the differnce between 20-30hp and 30-40ftlbs of torque, so it has its trade-offs like most turbos.
