Hey, just had a question about my car's HID's. I have a 01 A6 and there doesnt really seem to be a proper cutoff line as you would expect with HID's. Im pretty sure it has OEM HID's as there are washers on the bumper, blueish output of light and the flicker when they are first turned on. Can anyone provide insight to this?

 

I am assuming the car has projectors? Usually projectors have a very sharp cut off. How are you gauging how poor it seems to be? You may want to park 30ft from a wall and take a look. It may be that the headlights are not aimed correctly. There should basically be almost astraight horizontal line that curves up on the right hand side (toward the side of the road to light up signs).
