I'm on holidays for and what happens... a piece of sh** Ford Escort not looking at what there doing, comes into my lane and forces me to the curb at 90 KPH (approx. 50MPH). Major rash on 2 wheels and blew out my front right tire. Don't know if anything else is wrong .

To make matters worse, I didn't get the plate and they didn't even come back.

I have 205/55/16 cooper winters on... how safe would it be if I purchased a different used winter tire, so I can get home (4 hours away)? Can this cause any serious damage to my drivetrain?

I'm currently in Orleans, Ontario, Canada... if anyone has any suggestion.

 

its best to have all 4 the same, but if need be make sure the new one is the same size/tread depth. If its a good tire shop they should be able to get you a used one that is fairly close in size, then get home and throw on the summers
