as title, I bought the TT and how do I know if the previous only fixed?

call a dealer and give them the vin #, they should be able to answer that for you.

 

It's easy... Do you have a spoiler? If so chances are everything has been taken care of.

so 2001 doesn't come with spoiler? I thought only the first yr TT doesn't come with.

 

The all are suppose to have one. They have been known to be unstable at higher speeds and become dangerous. If you want the spoiler you need to take it to a dealer.

 

mine 2001 has spoiler.

The original 2000s and about the first 1/2 of 2001 didn't have a spoiler. There were several incidents on the Autobahn at high speeds the car would get light and oversteer. There was a recall to add the spoiler, change the rear springs, and change the front control arm to give the car more understeer. All of the later models had those changes in at the factory.
