High-Flow Cat & Resonator
well... I'm in the market for a high flow cat and resonator of the 3" variety to go with the 3" downpipe install. I've checked Magnaflow and can't really figure out what the difference is between all the different cats on there. Are there any particular "must have" specs to look for when shopping for a cat or resonator for a TTQC 225?
Any thoughts would help. thanks

They do but its only a one time thing. However, the car will be going back to the states eventually and I'm trying to put together the supporting mods for a big turbo now so all I need is the turbo later and not a kit. Have an FMIC and 3"downpipe. Getting injectors soon, fuel pump soon 4bar fpr soon. etc etc
I need to get the resonator and cat now so that all i'll need for exhaust is piping from resonator to muffler later.
**Edit**
I know folks are questioning my method or wondering why im doing it this way. the tuner i met last night recommended putting a 3" cat on with the downpipe he's making for two reasons. 1) keep from throwing a CEL. 2) if i ran downpipe and straight pipes... he said i would lose some low-end power. the second reason... really has nothing to do with the cat. thats the reason I'm leaving the stock 2.25" muffler on even though I'm upgrading the cat, resonator and downpipe to 3". Yes I realize I won't see gain without opening it up. I do not need to have an immediate gain in order to do a mod on my car. I will reap the benefits of this later when I go BT and upgrade the muffler.

well I'm adding a temporary 3" exhaust cut-out after the cat so I'll just hit the cutout after Im over 60mph and not lose any low end. I'll pull out the cut-out once I finish it up and run 3" the rest of the way

and not lose any low end.
Either way... Im gonna need these components eventually anyway. Like I said before, I'm doing the supporting mods for the BT now so when it comes time... I can drop the turbo in. Just because there may be no gain from what I'm doing now... does not mean that once I do the rest this won't pay off and give me those gains. I'm just choosing to do half of it now and half of it later.
Putting the downpipe, cat, and resonator on now without the rest... won't hurt anything.
