ok, so i went through a car wash and guess what !!! the damn ugly antenna broek right off, i managed to pick it up. but there is a plastic peice that cracked. i managed to get the wiring harness which still has the bolt part aattached to it out but i cannot get enough leverage to screw the antenna back in, i have maybe 1cm to work with. in either case audi wants 150$ + tx for the bottom assembly. i was wondering if any1 had any ideas on how to fix the antenna or even scrap the antenna its so ugly anyways and plug the whole? last thing i want is rust!!! im all open to any suggestions.

either get it welded up and resprayed or get a shark fin antenna from ebay and just glue it over the stub. its not like you are even using it, so a fake one will be cheap and work fine.
